Responsibilities
- Lead development across the stack by architecting, building, and shipping high-quality code across the platform.
- Design scalable solutions and collaborate with Product on customer-centric features.
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve system-level issues while guiding others on quality and reliability practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, code health, and team efficiency.
- Advocate for customer needs when designing and building solutions.
- Mentor teammates and help shape a culture of learning, growth, and technical rigor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a full-stack software development role, with a record of owning and delivering complex features or systems.
- Degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Deep proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, relational databases, Git, and AWS.
- Ability to learn and adapt to tools including Linear, Cursor, and other rapidly advancing AI tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including leading discussions, driving alignment, and mentoring peers.
- DevOps-related experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work in person or hybrid from the downtown Austin office.
