Base Salary
$126k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and debug high-performance collective communication libraries and GPU communication runtimes.
- Develop and optimize software for multi-GPU and multi-node communication across the AMD ROCm stack.
- Contribute to RCCL, TransferBench, and other open-source GPU communication and benchmarking tools.
- Tune collective algorithms such as AllReduce, AllGather, ReduceScatter, Broadcast, and AllToAll for distributed AI workloads.
- Create micro-benchmarks and performance characterization tools for GPU-to-GPU, GPU-to-NIC, and host-to-device transfers.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, driver, and AI framework teams to bring up new silicon and resolve functional and performance issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, C, or C++.
- Experience developing benchmarks to test software performance.
- Experience with GPU software programming and development.
- Experience with software debugging on macOS, Linux, or Unix.
- Knowledge of data structures and multithreading.
- Experience with CUDA.
- Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.
