$248k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-augmented workflows and systems that help coding agents understand codebases and engineering practices.
- Design and scale autonomous cloud agents for complex, multi-step engineering tasks.
- Build and refine IDE, editor, and CLI integrations for AI-assisted development.
- Create reusable agent skills, tools, context, and integrations for teams across Asana.
- Improve AI-assisted code review workflows and feedback quality.
- Drive adoption of AI developer tools through usability improvements, measurement, documentation, and enablement.
- Set technical direction while balancing experimentation, reliability, maintainability, and long-term platform thinking.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify workflow friction and scale high-impact solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading complex technical projects across teams.
- Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, infrastructure, IDE or editor integrations, CLIs, or workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex, or experience extending coding agents, MCP-based integrations, AI-powered code review systems, or agent skill and tool ecosystems.
- Experience building evaluation and quality frameworks for AI-generated outputs.
- Strong technical judgment and systems design skills, with the ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to apply them to productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
