Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate the verification and remediation of security issues.
- Manually audit source code for in-house web services and software.
- Write proof-of-concept code demonstrating the severity of potential security issues.
- Communicate security issues to developers and help test proposed fixes.
- Partner with AWS developers to improve application security through security reviews.
- Provide actionable long-term risk mitigation guidance.
- Perform static code analysis and dynamically reproduce issues to determine whether fixes are sufficient for release.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent.
- Experience scripting with Python, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
- Preferred coding or scripting experience in Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Preferred experience using BurpSuite, Metasploit, and IDA Pro.
