Responsibilities
- Contribute to the end-to-end development of Network Monitoring features within the Datadog Agent.
- Build and maintain shared eBPF functionality for product teams.
- Investigate and debug complex production issues involving the kernel and eBPF programs.
- Research, prototype, develop, and document solutions in the eBPF and network monitoring space.
- Provide technical input to product and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Possess deep technical experience in Linux kernel development, particularly with eBPF.
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of fundamental network protocols, including TCP and UDP.
- Have a proven track record of architecting high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure.
- Bring 5+ years of experience engineering complex applications and tooling.
- Prioritize solving customer-facing problems with high-impact products.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership of initiatives.
- Enjoy tackling hard technical problems across the full stack.
