Base Salary
$220k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own growth surfaces across the full funnel for all Perplexity products.
- Lead end-to-end experiments, from hypothesis to rollout, shipping multiple in parallel.
- Build applied AI systems for growth, including classifiers and personalized onboarding.
- Launch vertical-specific experiences that connect AI capabilities to measurable outcomes.
- Focus on key metrics like activation rate, paid conversion, and retention.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Marketing teams to enhance product surfaces.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Full-stack engineering skills with experience in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Strong execution skills with a track record of shipping experiments and product improvements.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms.
- Comfort with SQL and data-informed decision-making.
- Strong product judgment and ability to translate user behavior into technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts and a genuine interest in AI products.
