Software Engineer II - Slack Developer Workspaces
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Scale the AI sandbox fleet through capacity planning, safe rollouts, image builds, and operational alerting.
- Harden isolation between AI agents, sandboxes, and Slack using network separation, egress controls, secrets handling, and patching.
- Operate and improve remote development environments using Terraform, machine images, and idle-environment automation.
- Build observability through SLOs, dashboards, and centralized logs.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and automate fixes for production incidents.
- Use AI agents and AI coding tools extensively in development and platform operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
- Experience in infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering, including on-call responsibility for production systems.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, including EC2, networking, and IAM.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform or a comparable tool.
- Ability to write production code in Go or Python.
- Daily experience using AI coding tools and informed opinions about their limitations.
