Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components and applications.
- Write efficient and maintainable PL/SQL database scripts and stored procedures.
- Optimize complex queries and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Integrate PL/SQL components into larger software architectures.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PL/SQL).
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong experience writing database scripts and stored procedures.
- Ability to optimize queries and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Familiarity with integrating PL/SQL into larger software architectures.
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical PL/SQL solutions.
