Base Salary
$82k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development staff, contract and offshore engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.
- Perform design, analysis, and general architectural design for end-to-end application solutions.
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Python-based applications, automation solutions, APIs, ETL processes, and operational support tools.
- Use Python, .NET, web, cloud, data integration technologies, third-party frameworks, open-source libraries, and APIs to build application solutions.
- Support production operations through root cause analysis, defect remediation, data validation, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Learn emerging technologies and contribute to project deliverables and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent education/experience.
- At least one year of professional software development experience using Python, .NET/C#, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Knowledge of software development languages, frameworks, database design techniques, NoSQL databases, cloud services, distributed computing, integration frameworks, and deployment tools.
- At least one year of experience with database design and integration or service frameworks.
- Experience with build, deployment, continuous integration, containerization, scripting, automation, and operational support tools.
- Preferred experience includes Python data processing, automation, integration, or ETL solutions; AWS Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, or serverless development; and enterprise production-system support.
- Preferred knowledge includes real-time data processing, data mappings, ETL, and the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, teamwork, prioritization, customer-focus, and attention-to-detail skills.
