Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software in Ericsson’s Cloud RAN Layer 1 platform.
- Use AI-assisted engineering workflows for coding, test creation, debugging, documentation, and code review.
- Work with modern C++ and performance-critical software components.
- Participate in feature development, debugging, testing, code reviews, and continuous integration activities.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, system engineers, and testers across global teams.
- Contribute to software quality, test coverage, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
- Explore and contribute to AI/ML-enabled product features through prototyping, integration, testing, and evaluation.
Requirements
- Be about to graduate or have recently completed university studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Have programming experience in C/C++, Python, and Julia.
- Have a foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
- Have practical Python experience in data processing, experimentation, or machine learning through coursework, thesis work, or personal projects.
- Have experience with Linux development environments, Git, unit testing, CI/CD, or cloud-native technologies.
- Have a basic understanding of 5G, mobile networks, physical-layer processing, or 3GPP concepts.
- Be able to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Professional telecom or Layer 1 experience is not required.
