Responsibilities
- Collaborate with users to define requirements for new Layer 1 test framework work.
- Implement, verify, and maintain test framework features.
- Design solutions that improve toolchain efficiency, maintainability, and usability.
- Troubleshoot framework and development-environment issues for software developers worldwide.
- Support exploratory and non-commercial projects requiring customized testing solutions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Python programming skills are required; familiarity with C is a plus.
- Understanding of product verification concepts, including requirements, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with configuration and delivery tools such as Git, Gerrit, or Jenkins.
- Comfort working in a Linux development environment.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent and availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Knowledge of real-time embedded systems, multi-core architectures, or 3GPP/O-RAN wireless communications standards is an asset.

- Competitive hourly compensation of CAD $25.5-$34.5 for bachelor’s students, $37 for master’s students, or $41 for PhD students.
