Base Salary
$165k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver projects within expected cost, time, and quality parameters.
- Develop and unit test software functions according to development best practices.
- Build and maintain low-latency routing applications, matching engines, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers on integration, functional, and regression testing.
- Promote software changes safely through development environments into live production.
- Continuously improve system performance and address design and operational challenges with business and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on C/C++ programming experience on Linux.
- At least 2 years of hands-on scripting experience.
- Experience with code analysis and coverage tools such as Coverity, Valgrind, gcov, and lcov.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and performance-oriented programming.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and multicast network protocols.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
