Responsibilities
- Build and integrate generative AI applications using pre-trained and hosted foundation models.
- Implement context engineering, prompt engineering, RAG, chunking, embeddings, semantic and keyword search, and knowledge graph pipelines.
- Develop agentic workflows with tool-calling, planning, memory, session/state management, and guardrails using supported frameworks.
- Integrate agents with external tools and data sources through MCP, with exposure to A2A.
- Support deployment, monitoring, maintenance, testing, documentation, data preprocessing, document ingestion, and basic API development.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers, participate in code reviews, and share GenAI and agentic AI learnings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience, including at least 2–4 years of professional software or AI development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and solid understanding of foundation models, LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, and context windows.
- Hands-on prompt engineering and practical project or professional experience building RAG systems.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, Graph RAG, agentic AI development, tool/function calling, MCP, and agent harness concepts.
- Experience consuming major GenAI APIs and exposure to orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of application deployment and containerization with Docker and working knowledge of Git.
- Awareness of AI compliance, data privacy, guardrails, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong teamwork, communication, analytical, learning, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Exposure to cloud-based AI/ML environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
