Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in solution design for a wide range of business needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and create design documents and technical specifications.
- Develop enterprise-wide cross-functional software solutions in collaboration with software architects and business analysts.
- Provide post-implementation support, including application performance monitoring and debugging existing code.
- Follow technology and security best practices and stay current with advancing technologies.
- Work effectively with internal teams and external partners to integrate applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience with strong skills in at least one key competency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong relational database knowledge and understanding of application integration practices.
- Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle; Agile experience is strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of network and server infrastructure used to host applications.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business functions quickly.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and meet the U.S. citizenship requirement for the Department of Education contract.
- Knowledge of NIST compliance is strongly desired.
