Responsibilities
- Own security-related architecture and design according to enterprise cybersecurity standards.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of implementations, upgrades, configuration changes, and break/fix activities.
- Support hardening initiatives and monitor baseline configuration compliance across relevant systems and tools.
- Recommend evidence-based changes to policies, standards, architecture, and best practices to improve security posture.
- Collaborate with application development teams to implement DevSecOps with automated testing tools and processes.
- Review changes developed by other cybersecurity teams to ensure they are appropriate and do not introduce additional risk or liability.
- Create and maintain accurate, detailed guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a directly related field, or equivalent related work experience combined with cybersecurity certifications.
- 2–3 years of experience working in the security field.
- At least one professional-level technical certification, such as CCNP Security, GIAC, or another recognized security certification.
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO, and VAPT.
- Experience with security tools such as BigFix, InTune, Imperva, Snort, Nessus/Nexpose, or similar tools.
- Experience with enterprise-wide authentication and identity solutions.
- Experience with Azure AD/Active Directory SSO, MFA, application registration, identity federation, and automation.
- Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause diagnosis, writing, and communication skills.
