Responsibilities
- Translate trading requests into technical requirements and develop scalable solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Operate and maintain production trading systems to ensure continuity and stability.
- Coordinate, prioritize, and plan changes to trading software using AI tooling to improve safe releases and time-to-market.
- Develop automation tools to streamline operational processes and reduce overhead.
- Enhance trading strategies and trading infrastructure.
- Facilitate market connectivity and collaborate with exchanges to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Use AI tools for incident investigation, root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, and performance improvements.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and UDP.
- Strong programming experience in Python and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in engineering or operational workflows.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or Technology.
- Experience deploying, running, and supporting high-performance applications and troubleshooting production-critical systems.
- Experience with Puppet, Prometheus, and Grafana is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, curiosity, and self-direction.
