Staff Mobile Engineer (Contractor)

Responsibilities
- Lead mobile product development across iOS and Android using Swift and Kotlin.
- Design compelling mobile user experiences, business logic, and application architecture.
- Provide internal developer community support and collaborate with other technical leads.
- Communicate technical constraints and approaches to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support testing, maintenance, usability, distribution, and adoption across mobile devices.
- Stay current with mobile tools including Kotlin Multiplatform and Bitrise.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working on large development projects.
- Experience using Kotlin, Compose, Swift, and SwiftUI.
- Strong understanding of UI and business-logic layer design and architecture.
- Ability to explain progressive enhancement and graceful degradation.
- Understanding of animation’s role in interface design.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across varied stakeholders.
- Adaptability, persistence, self-direction, and commitment to knowledge sharing.
