Responsibilities
- Lead and shape AI/ML initiatives across machine learning, generative AI, and LLM solutions.
- Develop scalable Python software and microservices for AI/ML applications.
- Build and deploy LLM systems including chatbots, recommendation systems, translation services, RAG, semantic search, and vector database solutions.
- Implement LLM serving, optimization, quantization, knowledge distillation, fine-tuning, evaluation, and automated retraining workflows.
- Process large-scale data using Spark and apply feature engineering, embedding optimization, and dimensionality reduction.
- Design and operate MLOps, cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, model monitoring, and deployment systems.
- Create low-level designs for solution architectures and work with microservices-based architectures.
- Apply A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical hypothesis testing to AI/ML solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of total and relevant experience in AI/ML or a related field.
- Four to eight years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related work.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Go, Rust, and Java is required or relevant to the role.
- Extensive experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, prompt engineering, and LLM development lifecycles.
- Experience with fine-tuning, evaluation, RAG systems, vector databases, semantic search, quantization, and knowledge distillation.
- Experience with Spark, Git, MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, FastAPI, vLLM, TorchServe, or TensorFlow Serving.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, service mesh implementations, and containerized ML workloads.
- Strong understanding of AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud infrastructure, and network security for ML systems.
- Experience with microservices architecture, concurrency processing, test-driven development, and low-level design.
- Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, MCA, or MBA degree.
- Prior experience in industries using AI/ML technologies is preferred.
