Responsibilities
- Define technical architecture for D365 F&O implementations, including data integration, system integration, and application development strategies.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Lead development of custom solutions, extensions, integrations, X++ code, workflows, and data entities within D365 F&O.
- Design and implement integrations using APIs, data connectors, Azure integration tools, and data mapping and transformation processes.
- Optimize system performance through code optimization, database tuning, monitoring, and configuration adjustments.
- Review development work for quality, maintainability, performance, architectural alignment, and adherence to best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to develop and manage action plans.
- Support test case planning, acceptance testing, release management, and project delivery.
- Travel as needed based on presales and project demands.
Requirements
- 15+ years of deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O core modules.
- Strong implementation experience across large, complex, multi-region client projects.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects.
- Strong proficiency in D365 F&O development, including X++ programming, data entities, and workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing system integrations with D365 F&O, ideally using Microsoft Azure integration architecture and Logic Apps.
- Familiarity with the D365 F&O security framework, including creating security policies.
- Experience creating custom workflow business processes and understanding integration options and underlying technologies.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA, test case planning, acceptance testing frameworks, and release management.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Certified Technical qualification.
- Strong communication, analytical, documentation, client management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently with latitude for autonomous decision-making and under general guidance.
- Positive, can-do approach and willingness to travel as required.
