Base Salary

$121k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, acquisition, deployment, and integration of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead controls, compliance initiatives, engineering projects, and technology domain roadmaps.
  • Define system enhancements and recommend product customizations for system integration.
  • Identify causality, business impact, and root causes of problems.
  • Advise and mentor junior team members and influence engineering decisions through counsel and facilitation.
  • Assess and manage technology, business, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while safeguarding clients and company assets.
  • Lead operational process change and improvement in a matrixed, global environment.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
  • High proficiency in at least one backend object-oriented programming language, with Python or Java preferred.
  • Knowledge of databases, networking, REST APIs, and CLI tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and/or global environment.
  • Project management experience and demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, design-metrics, benchmarking, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, work independently, prioritize responsibilities, manage deadlines, and partner with virtual teams.
  • Ability to use AI appropriately and effectively to contribute to code and design.
  • Proven experience driving operational process change and improvement.
