Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, acquisition, deployment, and integration of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead controls, compliance initiatives, engineering projects, and technology domain roadmaps.
- Define system enhancements and recommend product customizations for system integration.
- Identify causality, business impact, and root causes of problems.
- Advise and mentor junior team members and influence engineering decisions through counsel and facilitation.
- Assess and manage technology, business, compliance, and operational risks.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while safeguarding clients and company assets.
- Lead operational process change and improvement in a matrixed, global environment.
Requirements
- 13+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- High proficiency in at least one backend object-oriented programming language, with Python or Java preferred.
- Knowledge of databases, networking, REST APIs, and CLI tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and/or global environment.
- Project management experience and demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, design-metrics, benchmarking, and reporting skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, work independently, prioritize responsibilities, manage deadlines, and partner with virtual teams.
- Ability to use AI appropriately and effectively to contribute to code and design.
- Proven experience driving operational process change and improvement.
