Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software across the stack.
- Partner with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions and own features end-to-end.
- Build extensible user experiences using React, Angular, or Vue.
- Design and deliver new products and features while enhancing existing capabilities.
- Embed automated functional, integration, regression, and performance testing practices.
- Participate in design and code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex systems, optimize performance, and improve reliability, observability, and production readiness.
- Share engineering knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets, model outputs, or inference consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience optimizing performance across the stack.
- Familiarity with IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.
- Ability to apply critical thinking when using AI to improve workflows, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Australian citizenship, current residence in Australia, and the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
