Base Salary
$68k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead technical discussions with product managers, technical leads, developers, and stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and code-coverage improvements while following coding standards.
- Support software delivery, including application testing, CI/CD deployment, production release, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Create technical designs and service specifications and guide developers on functional and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Require 6+ years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Require hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.
- Require strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Require experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Require experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure experience, large-scale or distributed application design, cloud-based analytics architectures, application monitoring and observability, and experience guiding developers and establishing technical documentation standards.
