Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and release application components that meet functionality, quality, and performance requirements.
- Build responsive web applications and interfaces using frontend technologies and reusable Web Components.
- Analyze and fix production bugs while supporting production systems through monitoring and incident resolution.
- Manage story refinement, coding, backlog activities, environments, releases, and monitoring.
- Apply software engineering practices including design patterns, clean code, performance optimization, unit testing, and behavioral development practices.
- Collaborate with the cross-technical chapter and broader squad while contributing to technical discipline.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their technical growth.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience working with similar technologies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMAScript 2015+, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building responsive web applications across different devices and screen sizes.
- Experience with Web Components, web accessibility standards including WCAG, and frontend performance tuning.
- Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship, functional programming, and autonomous debugging.
- Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, or Chai for unit testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Webpack, Gulp, or Rollup bundling tools.
- Experience with Azure.
- Curiosity about the business domain, expert-level frontend experience, and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
