Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce B2B Commerce Apex stories end-to-end from design and implementation through unit testing, peer review readiness, and QA handoff.
- Develop Apex, optimized SOQL queries, REST API integrations, and Salesforce commerce-flow customizations.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, integration leads, and client teams on technical delivery, sequencing, governance, and standards.
- Identify and address governor-limit exposure, API consumer impacts, security gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
- Improve peer review, CI/CD adoption, test coverage, and deployment governance practices.
- Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and day-to-day mentoring to analysts.
- Participate in agentic AI workshops and use Claude Code in the daily engineering workflow.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience is stated for the role.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud experience, including commerce flows, pricing, entitlements, buyer-experience customization, and data-model configuration.
- Strong Salesforce Apex skills covering triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, governor limits, save points, rollback, and unit testing.
- Experience optimizing SOQL queries and managing governor-limit risks in high-volume transactional flows.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs within Salesforce, including versioning and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of idempotency guards, cart conversion logic, and transactional rollback for payment and transaction flows.
- Experience with SFDX, Git-based version control, and sprint-based delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include Named and External Credentials, PII data-model awareness, Seam contract testing, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ, OMS, or Salesforce Platform Developer/B2B Commerce certification.
