Responsibilities
- Implement enterprise-level, tailor-made multi-tier applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Integrate third-party applications and data sources.
- Use workflow, document-management, content-management, portal systems, and relevant frameworks.
- Contribute to large-scale, high-availability, mission-critical applications for banking-sector clients.
- Draft technical documentation and design algorithms.
- Meet demanding deadlines and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of relevant professional software-development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Professional experience with Java, Servlets, JDBC, EJBs, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring.
- Knowledge of JSP, JSF, React, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
- Database and SQL experience with one or more of Oracle DB, MSSQL, DB2, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of client-server architecture and SOAP/REST web services.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SVN or Git, Jira, and Maven.
- Strong analytical, technical-documentation, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Greek.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
