Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain the microloan provisioning platform.
- Build and support backend platform capabilities processing millions of loan transactions daily.
- Focus on software efficiency, performance, quality, and lifecycle delivery.
- Work with Java, Spring, JMS, Hazelcast, Postgres, Kafka, Elastic, Docker Swarm, and Debian.
- Apply secure coding guidelines and practices, including OWASP and NIST guidance.
- Collaborate with teammates and contribute to evaluating and learning new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in backend platform development.
- Strong programming abilities with the Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of relational database technology.
- Experience with Postgres, Elastic Search, and Docker Swarm.
- Knowledge of NoSQL is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
