Base Salary
$141k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade AI agentic workflows and conversational AI solutions across web, mobile, and voice channels.
- Build scalable AI agent architectures, API integrations, and cloud-native solutions connected to retail, inventory, and customer data systems.
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, observability, monitoring, and best practices for AI agent development.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks and provide strategic recommendations for adoption.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, business stakeholders, architecture teams, and engineering organizations to deliver AI initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on agent design patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM integration strategies.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the organization’s AI engineering capabilities.
- Ensure solutions follow security protocols, data governance standards, enterprise architecture standards, and scalability requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with strong Python development expertise.
- Proven experience designing and deploying production AI/ML systems at scale.
- Deep understanding of AI agent architectures, prompt engineering, and LLM integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
- Experience with software development practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability.
- Ability to use Lucid to create detailed technical architecture diagrams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph, conversational AI for customer-facing applications, and generative or conversational AI platforms is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, contact center and voice automation platforms, AI model evaluation, A/B testing, performance optimization, responsible AI, bias mitigation, and AI governance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of an interview and reliable, punctual attendance are required.
