Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain agentic or AI-enabled workflows for common security tasks.
- Perform security reviews and audits of platform and application software throughout design and launch.
- Advise product and operations teams on security matters.
- Design, build, and maintain security automation and tooling that improves team impact and developer experience.
- Drive security architecture, application scanning, fuzzing, and other proactive defense initiatives.
- Harden in-house libraries, CI/CD systems, and cloud and container environments.
- Review third-party libraries and manage vulnerability remediation.
- Educate engineers on secure coding practices and standardize security practices across teams.
- Participate in red-team exercises and coordinate with internal teams and external penetration-testing partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a global company with cloud-centric infrastructure, preferably GCP.
- Experience implementing services and applications with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, OpenCode, or Gemini, including adjacent technologies such as RAG and MCP.
- Ability to create automation, agentic workflows, and enterprise-scale tooling.
- In-depth experience hardening distributed web services, cloud services, and platform architectures.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Go or Java, and deep knowledge of vulnerability classes and exploitation patterns across modern technology stacks.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across distributed teams.
- Red-team operations, mitigation tracking, build systems, artifact repositories, large-scale infrastructure, privacy-focused solutions, code quality management, security champion programs, or AI security and safety experience are advantageous.
