Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets, including healthcare claims.
- Develop test cases and test datasets aligned with specifications, clinical content definitions, and software design and logic.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report abnormalities, outliers, and defects.
- Automate test case creation and result analysis using frameworks and scripts.
- Document automation strategies and implementations, execute automation programs, and interpret results.
- Quality review definition manuals.
- Mentor and lead quality engineers in day-to-day work.
- Participate in Scrum planning, identify dependencies, break down tasks, estimate work, and define test approaches.
- Drive innovative testing solutions and standardize quality metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and five years of software-industry experience, or a high school diploma/GED and nine years of software-industry experience in lieu of the degree.
- Five years of experience creating software quality and/or data-processing tests.
- Experience testing applications implemented with Java, SQL, and JSON.
- Three years of test automation experience.
- Experience mentoring quality engineers and working with Agile Scrum teams.
- Preferred experience analyzing large healthcare, insurance, or financial datasets.
- Preferred five-plus years testing applications or Java JARs/libraries without a user interface using JSON and CSV datasets.
- Preferred two years of experience with healthcare data and HIPAA requirements.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, and Selenium is preferred.
- Experience writing test scripts using Java, Python, and SQL is preferred.
- Ability to create test preparation and impact documentation and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment-visa sponsorship.
