Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain Terraform to provision and manage Azure infrastructure as code.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, including AKS, Helm chart deployments, ArgoCD GitOps workflows, and networking components.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with automated application delivery, container image promotion, infrastructure deployment, security gates, and quality gates.
- Deploy, operate, and support applications across development, staging, and production environments using structured release and promotion strategies.
- Manage secrets, identity, and access through Key Vault, Managed Identities, role-based access control, and other cloud-native security practices.
- Maintain observability platforms and develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive incident detection.
- Connect hybrid on-premises and Azure environments through secure networking and tunnel-based connectivity solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, support incident response, and drive post-incident improvements.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures and support cloud cost and capacity management.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs, compliance teams, software engineers, and test engineers to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes meet applicable standards and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in the medical device industry or another regulated or audit-heavy industry is an added advantage.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining Terraform for Azure infrastructure.
- Production experience operating Kubernetes, preferably AKS, including Helm and GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native secrets, identity, and access management, including Key Vault, Managed Identities, and RBAC.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or ELK/EFK.
- Experience with hybrid on-premises-to-cloud networking, such as VPN or ExpressRoute.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
