Responsibilities
- Design and optimize systems for stable processing of high-volume traffic.
- Deliver high-quality products quickly through code reviews and design reviews.
- Serve as a key engineer making system-design decisions.
- Design scalable architectures and develop services that support sustainable growth.
- Design and implement backend services using RESTful APIs.
- Improve software quality by writing testable and clean code.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Support the end-to-end customer journey across product discovery, ordering, checkout, order workflows, and real-time delivery status.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency with Java or Kotlin and the Spring framework.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Experience designing, building, and operating microservice architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and clear, transparent communication skills.
- Preferred: experience in e-commerce or O2O industries.
- Preferred: experience processing high-volume traffic with non-blocking technologies such as WebFlux.
- Preferred: understanding and application of DDD and TDD development methodologies.
- Preferred: ability to refactor legacy code.
- Preferred: English verbal and written communication skills.
