Site Reliability Engineer Intern, System - System Service Global (Infrastructure Engineering), 2027 Start
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Improve the full lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Support pre-launch activities such as capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scale systems through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and engineering velocity.
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles.
- Update software and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, or Python.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
