Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across the Intelligent DMS organization and multiple engineering teams.
- Design and build cloud-native applications, microservices, integrations, and customer-facing experiences at enterprise scale.
- Architect web, mobile, backend, desktop, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered platform experiences.
- Define shared technical patterns, data models, permission models, migration strategies, and integration approaches.
- Lead complex cross-team initiatives from product ideation through architecture, implementation, and production.
- Drive modernization of mature applications while maintaining critical customer workflows and supporting migrations.
- Establish performance, reliability, security, testing, quality, and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers across experience levels, including Senior and Staff Engineers, and lead design and code reviews.
- Document architectural decisions and serve as a technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Platform, and AI teams and support recruiting and interviewing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated Staff-level-or-above experience.
- Proven ability to set architecture and technical direction across multiple products, systems, or engineering teams.
- Experience leading complex cross-team initiatives without formal authority and aligning engineering stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, cloud applications, microservices, and enterprise-scale integrations.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience across frontend and backend systems, including C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native systems using AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud technologies.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and providing technical guidance across teams.
- Strong technical writing skills, including architecture documents, design proposals, and technical decision records.
- Preferred experience shipping AI-native product experiences and operating multi-tenant enterprise platforms with strict security, compliance, or data residency requirements.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft 365 extensibility, Office add-ins, Microsoft Graph, co-authoring technologies, legacy modernization, customer migrations, legal technology, regulated enterprise software, or public technical leadership examples.
