Responsibilities
- Lead mobile engineering architecture and design reviews and maintain high software quality standards.
- Translate mobile UI designs into functional and engaging iOS solutions.
- Drive the mobile software lifecycle from prototyping through commercialization and post-launch support.
- Integrate mobile applications with cloud services and supported workflows.
- Conduct code and design reviews and establish high technical standards.
- Mentor engineers and support their technical growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Improve engineering processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and long-term planning.
- Build robust, reliable software for mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- Junior candidates require 1+ years of professional experience delivering iOS applications to the Apple App Store; senior candidates require 6+ years.
- Deep expertise in Swift and working knowledge of Objective-C.
- Experience leading mobile architecture discussions, design reviews, implementation, and post-release monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with SwiftUI and Swift Package Manager, plus current knowledge of iOS advancements through WWDC.
- Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI and automated testing.
- Experience consuming remote data through RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, and WebSockets.
- Experience with SDKs and system-level features such as Bluetooth, WiFi, camera APIs, networking, or third-party hardware is preferred.
- Familiarity with video streaming, IoT connectivity, BLE, and WiFi integrations is preferred.
- Wireshark or Charles Proxy experience is a plus.
