Responsibilities
- Work on full-lifecycle web and mobile application projects, including requirements gathering, solutioning, development, release, and post-launch maintenance.
- Design, develop, maintain, and release web and application solutions based on specifications.
- Collaborate with agile, cross-functional, and international teams as well as Product, Design, and Business stakeholders.
- Support the Project Manager or Scrum Master by providing consultation and direction to stakeholders.
- Recognize and resolve issues proactively.
- Continuously learn and improve technical skills and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant qualification.
- Experience in Java-based web or application development with full-stack exposure; all experience levels are considered.
- Proficiency in Java and strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, scalable cloud application design, relational databases, SQL, microservices, ORM, and architectural and design patterns.
- Experience with Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, JVM optimization, memory-leak troubleshooting, server setup and maintenance, and DevOps.
- AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, IBM Mobile First Platform, or Jahia is advantageous.
- Relevant Azure and AWS developer, solutions architect, or DevOps certifications are highly considered.
- English-speaking ability, communication skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
- Candidates with extensive experience, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications may be considered for Team Lead or Technical Architect roles.
