Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve services across their full lifecycle, including inception, design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Provide pre-launch system design consulting, develop software platforms and frameworks, plan capacity, and conduct launch reviews.
- Measure and monitor availability, latency, capacity, performance, and overall service health.
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and engineering velocity.
- Participate in incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
