Responsibilities
- Architect and implement API automation and consumer-driven contract tests using tools such as Pact.
- Integrate test frameworks into Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions pipelines, including Kubernetes/EKS environments.
- Define shift-left quality requirements and implement strategies for earlier defect detection and improved test efficiency.
- Build and maintain automated test pipelines and cloud-based test environments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Perform performance, security, reliability, and end-to-end testing.
- Advise client stakeholders on quality engineering strategies, testing technologies, frameworks, roadmaps, and best practices.
- Guide and mentor internal teams while collaborating with product, development, DevOps, and customer teams.
- Troubleshoot test failures, analyze root causes, participate in code reviews and test planning, and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to QA and test automation best practices.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of test experience with Selenium/WebDriver, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Expertise in consumer-driven API testing, including Pact and CDC.
- Strong coding skills in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitOps.
- Experience working in CI/CD environments and applying shift-left testing strategies.
- Strong technical expertise in test automation, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication, client engagement, consulting, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
