Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend the existing Python codebase.
- Design, develop, and deliver application features and services.
- Implement and integrate quantitative valuation and risk models.
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Enhance user interfaces and developer tooling.
- Maintain and extend the RESTful API server application.
- Integrate internally developed and third-party models, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
- Drive software architecture, design decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced Python software engineering experience gained in industry or academia.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production-quality software.
- Ability to work confidently with large, complex codebases.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with Git, Unix/Linux environments, testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of mathematical or quantitative models and ability to work with domain specialists.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
