Responsibilities
- Define and drive frontend architecture, technical strategy, standards, and the roadmap for Cloud Secure Edge.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend solutions.
- Build interactive, data-intensive user experiences, dashboards, analytics interfaces, and visualizations.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Security, and Platform teams to influence product and technology direction.
- Drive cross-team technical decisions and resolve complex architectural challenges.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical guidance, hands-on leadership, and best practices.
- Develop reusable frameworks, shared components, design systems, and frontend platform improvements.
- Improve testing, CI/CD, observability, developer productivity, and frontend development practices.
- Lead performance optimization using lazy loading, code splitting, tree shaking, caching, bundle optimization, and rendering optimizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise web applications.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, React Query, HTML, CSS/Sass, and modern frontend architectures.
- Experience driving frontend architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards across multiple teams.
- Experience designing complex UIs, enterprise applications, dashboards, and data visualizations with tools such as Highcharts and ag-Grid.
- Deep expertise in frontend performance optimization, scalability, lazy loading, code splitting, tree shaking, bundle optimization, and rendering performance.
- Strong understanding of accessibility, security, scalability, reliability, and modern testing methodologies.
- Experience creating and maintaining unit, integration, and component test suites using Jest, React Testing Library, and related tools.
- Experience building and evolving design systems, component libraries, and shared frontend platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated success mentoring engineers, conducting technical reviews, and raising engineering standards.
- Preferred experience includes cybersecurity, networking, Zero Trust, SSE/SASE, cloud security, micro-frontends, frontend platform engineering, distributed frontend ecosystems, observability, monitoring, performance measurement, and large-scale analytics or security dashboards.
