Base Salary
$130k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and determine integration needs.
- Design, develop, customize, update, test, and release software and web applications.
- Create and support backend services and RESTful APIs for programmatic advertising operations.
- Document software designs, technical requirements, evaluation plans, test results, manuals, and recommendations.
- Mentor and train junior Software Development Engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the design process.
- Track and evaluate performance metrics and help ensure software is delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.
- Work with Quality Assurance to evaluate applications, systems, subsystems, and components against specifications.
- Act as a technical liaison for outside vendors and customers and present architectural and technical decisions.
- Maintain regular attendance and work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience working with Python and Django.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using Django.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS, including owning production deployments at scale for critical backend services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Seven to ten years of relevant work experience is listed for the role.
- AdTech or advertising experience is preferred.
Benefits
- Illinois base pay range is $129,515.93-$194,273.89, with eligibility for company benefits and applicable bonus programs.
- The role is based in Chicago and requires onsite work two days per week.
