Base Salary
$152k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and deliver software solutions while considering upstream and downstream technical implications.
- Build and maintain Java-based applications and features supporting Cash Prime clearing and settlements.
- Create automated unit tests and manage unit, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing planning.
- Analyze and improve control, stability, resiliency, capacity, and performance areas.
- Deliver code robustly into production and minimize post-implementation issues.
- Partner with supporting technology leads on project estimates and contribute to strategic planning and organizational goals.
- Promote engineering best practices, code reviews, architecture standards, code reuse, and quality improvements.
- Drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering and automation practices, including validation for correctness, performance, and security.
- Coach senior engineers and leads on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- Formal degree or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Strong core Java knowledge, including collections, garbage collection, and multithreading.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, databases, Kafka, React JS, CI/CD, feature design, and AWS cloud.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, application resiliency, security, and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development practices and validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and compliant usage controls.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder relationship, and end-to-end solution delivery skills.
- Preferred: experience designing and developing micro-front-end-based microservices.
- Preferred: expert-level Kubernetes platform and DevOps methodology experience.
