Responsibilities
- Lead the technology roadmap and modernization of the CitiQuote equity derivatives pre-trade platform.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Manage application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and support successful system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and assist with customer-facing system exposure.
- Define operating standards and processes and ensure essential procedures are followed.
- Serve as a technical advisor or coach to junior analysts and senior stakeholders.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and business risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in DevOps or operations, infrastructure support, and technology hygiene management.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- 6-8 years of experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, and a scripting language.
- 6-8 years of experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Strong understanding of Agile and related practices including TDD, BDD, and DevOps.
- Experience with Couchbase, Kafka, ELK, MongoDB, and MS SQL.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Willingness to learn Kotlin and work with legacy technologies during platform migration.
- Java coding experience, C# experience, and finance or equity derivatives experience are preferred.
