Base Salary
$47k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot automation solutions using Visual Basic/VBA, Excel macros, Python, Selenium, Boston Workstation, and web-based platforms.
- Review claim data and quality assure claim examples in Athena Health.
- Manage SFTP file transfers and automated file movement processes.
- Support insurance overpayment and patient refund check processing.
- Partner with revenue cycle leadership and operational teams to identify workflow automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical support and customer service to call center representatives and other end users.
- Gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and document automation processes and workflows.
- Support Cognizant and other revenue cycle applications while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, data security standards, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience programming with Visual Basic/VBA scripting and creating Microsoft Excel macros and automated reporting tools.
- Experience using Boston Workstation to develop and support automated business processes.
- Experience with Python and Selenium for web automation and browser interaction.
- Experience with Cognizant applications and processes.
- Experience managing SFTP file transfers and automated file movement processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Preferred experience includes healthcare revenue cycle operations, insurance payment reconciliation, overpayment processing, patient refunds, call center support, process improvement, workflow optimization, and technical documentation.
