Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Contribute to projects that move and process data between GoDaddy systems.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in team services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver customer value.
  • Apply cloud-native development practices in AWS.
  • Contribute ideas to improve applications, processes, and team practices.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing applications with Java.
  • Familiarity with Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
  • Experience building APIs or backend services.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including testing and debugging.
  • Experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, relational or NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, AI-assisted development tools, and Kubernetes.
