Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to projects that move and process data between GoDaddy systems.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in team services.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver customer value.
- Apply cloud-native development practices in AWS.
- Contribute ideas to improve applications, processes, and team practices.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing applications with Java.
- Familiarity with Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
- Experience building APIs or backend services.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including testing and debugging.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, relational or NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, AI-assisted development tools, and Kubernetes.
