Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for infrastructure reliability and large-scale Site Reliability Engineering operations.
- Run applications and manage Kubernetes clusters across Alibaba Cloud, AWS, or GCP.
- Develop software and tools, lead code reviews, and automate operational processes.
- Support infrastructure migrations, scale testing, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and 24x7 incident response.
- Define infrastructure technical roadmaps and align cross-functional teams on architecture and best practices.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery and partner with SRE, software engineering, and product engineering teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering managing infrastructure and services at scale.
- 5+ years of experience in management or technical leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience running applications and managing Kubernetes clusters on Alibaba Cloud, AWS, or GCP.
- Proven end-to-end project management and delivery experience.
- Demonstrable programming skills for developing software and leading code reviews.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, networking, and containers.
- Preferred: 15+ years of SRE or related experience managing infrastructure at scale.
- Preferred: proficiency with the architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Trino, and/or Druid.
- Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Ability to define technical roadmaps and drive cross-functional alignment on architectural standards and best practices.
