Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models to enhance product functionality.
- Optimize tools and workflows for Rubrik’s engineering teams.
- Develop new security features for Rubrik products.
- Conduct exploratory research on emerging technologies.
- Write and ship production code as a member of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Be available to work full-time from January 11, 2027, through May 7, 2027, at Rubrik’s Palo Alto, California headquarters.
- Be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Have an expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Be proficient in one or more industry-standard programming languages, such as Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, or JavaScript.
- Understand fundamental computer science concepts including algorithms, data structures, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Preferred: hands-on software engineering experience through internships, competitive coding challenges, significant academic projects, or research publications.
