Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and lead significant improvements to Airtable’s infrastructure.
- Work on systems-level problems focusing on scalability, efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Build clean, reusable, and maintainable abstractions for Airtable’s engineers.
- Take full ownership of components of Airtable’s infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of industry experience.
- Experience in databases, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong background in computer science with a degree in CS or a related field.
- Willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-changing environment.
- Currently based or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
