Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead or support a small team of developers and researchers implementing AI/ML algorithms for computer vision and remote sensing.
- Analyze and preprocess large remote-sensing datasets.
- Research supervised and unsupervised automatic target recognition solutions.
- Research multimodal data fusion for automatic target recognition across diverse data-collection scenarios.
- Train, optimize, and deploy deep-learning computer vision models in cloud-hosted environments.
- Review relevant publications, explain emerging concepts to government customers, and apply them to defense and commercial applications.
- Write technical documentation for code, program capabilities, and user guides.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI government security clearance is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of computer vision AI/ML development experience is required.
- Proficiency with Python and machine-learning libraries such as PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, and Polars is required.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning is required.
- Experience with Python machine-learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch Lightning, scikit-learn, scikit-image, and/or OpenCV is required.
- Experience training convolutional-based computer vision models such as YOLOv3-11 or YOLOX, or transformer-based models such as Vision Transformer or Swin, is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with self-supervised learning, student-teacher approaches, image segmentation, super resolution, image denoising, image restoration, multi-INT fusion, graph convolutional networks, SAR/EO/OPIR image-processing chains, overhead-imagery datasets, AWS resources, version-control processes, Linux, tracking and fusion, pattern-of-life algorithms, application deployment, virtualization, and containerization.
