Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing platform features for billing, authentication, onboarding, and settings.
- Integrate and maintain third-party APIs including Stripe, Firebase, and analytics services.
- Write TypeScript and Node.js backend services and React frontend components.
- Improve the reliability and performance of core platform flows.
- Implement observability, logging, and error-tracking standards.
- Collaborate across teams to design APIs supporting new products and integrations.
- Document architecture and domain best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience integrating and maintaining third-party APIs.
- Proven track record shipping production full-stack web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting on GCP, AWS, or Firebase and CI/CD basics.
- Strong debugging and cross-system troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for an async, remote team.
- Preferred experience with multi-tenant SaaS or collaborative web platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with OAuth, JWT, or Firebase Auth.
- Preferred exposure to Sentry, Datadog, or Grafana observability stacks.
- Preferred experience building internal tools or admin dashboards.
- Startup or 0-to-1 product-building experience is preferred.
