Base Salary
$80k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the Fiserv PEP application.
- Develop and implement technical and business-driven changes using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
- Perform code analysis, debugging, testing, deployment, application upgrades, and system improvements.
- Support end-to-end ACH payment processing, including settlements, returns, corrections, and exception handling.
- Analyze and resolve payment failures, processing bottlenecks, reconciliation issues, defects, and production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution with business, operations, and support teams.
- Ensure application stability, performance, reliability, and compliance with ACH operating rules.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
- Proven hands-on experience supporting and enhancing Fiserv PEP payment applications.
- Strong understanding of ACH payments, NACHA file formats, processing workflows, settlements, returns, corrections, and exception processing.
- Experience supporting large-scale mainframe applications and analyzing payment issues from technical and functional perspectives.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience in banking or financial services, payment operations, transaction processing systems, production support, incident management, or high-volume payment processing environments.
